What people need to consider is that if they intend it as a joke or not, it receives the same kind of attention. It causes problems. Which is why I tell people that they might have a point, but they are going about it all wrong. If you want to discuss such things then do it in a more mature manner, a shocking sensational topic header is going to attract attention, and the topic will shortly fall into bad territory. It happens constantly.

So again, joking or not, the end result is always negative. So really it doesn't matter if you were joking, you could have brought the idea up in a much better way.
