SP is a form of "Forum Currency" if you will. You can use it to purchase Icons and stuff or you can donate SP using the donate button on the bottom left corner of the poster you wish to donate too.
SP can be also used to get Sigs (The picture on the bottom of all of my posts) and other things like the Larry Fitzgerald sig I have. Hope that explains all
