Electronic Arts announced today that one of the company’s prominent franchises is to be reworked for next-generation consoles and PC, under guidance from Swedish developer Starbreeze.
Details are sketchy as to what the project might be, although the company is currently referring to it as “Project RedLime”, with press coverage labelling it as "an incredibly innovative take on a classic property.”
The title is already said to be “deep” in development.
Starbreeze CEO Johan Kristiansson commented: "We're excited to bring a new perspective and gameplay innovation to this beloved fiction.”
“EA Partners gives independent developers like Starbreeze access to EA’s unrivaled global publishing infrastructure, letting us focus our energy on what we do best – making incredible games,” he added.
Starbreeze is best known for its work on titles such as The Darkness and The Chronicles of Riddick.

Well, you know if EA touches it then it's bound to degenerate into trash. Nuff said.

It won't be Fight Night or Madden...its a remake of a CLASSIC as in RETRO !!
Dunno why but I think they'll start making new Road Rash games..dunno, its the first EA series that hasn't had a new iteration in about a decade that popped into my mind !! Would be awesome in next gen though !!

You'd have to rework every EA game to make it profitable.
