Soul Calibur IV US release date announced

Namco Bandai’s forthcoming brawler Soul Calibur IV will be released in North America on July 29.

Reports also indicate that the fourth instalment in the popular fighting series will be available as a special Premium Edition, which is said to contain a comic book, a special code for exclusive customisation content and a “tournament kit.”

The Premium Edition will supposedly be released for approximately USD 80.

A European release date has yet to be announced.

    I'm not in to fighting games, but it's cool that they're going to include Vader and Yoda. Wonder if they're gonna use the same models as Force Unleashed...

    It's going to be a great game and I am looking forward to it... When it was first announced that PS3 games were going to be region free I thought that all countries would be getting games at a similar date... Shame that didn't happen.

    I thought the last game (Soul Calibur 3) was aite so might get this one. But July 29 is pretty far away.

    I've been looking to get back in the SC games for a while now.  Only 3 months away.

    psn id: gingo.... playing as vader will be quite awesome and will be interesting to see how well he fits in with the other characters
