Konami confirmed today the development of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for PSP, Wii and PlayStation 2. The game promises to be a clever reimagining of the first Silent Hill title, which was originally released for the PlayStation, and was out of print before it made an appearance on the PlayStation Network.
While the game shares the same plot of the original, Silent Hill: Shattered will allow gamers to take different paths, find new items in new spots, and generally mix things up.
The game follows Harry Mason as he attempts to reveal the mystery behind his missing daughter, Cheryl. Mason’s investigations lead him to the mist-shrouded, snowy streets of Silent Hill: a malevolent town where the shadows play host to a wealth of evil, misshapen creatures.
Climax is the development studio behind Shattered Memories, which currently has no confirmed release date.

I am a long time fan of Silent Hill games, but because of SH:Homecoming Im not anymore.Or at least not any from this gen or from Homecoming onwards.Konami betrayed their fans just so they could make the SAW game.Ill pass on the remake of the classic thanks. It will most likely be made by double helix anyway.
