PSU Interviews Bethesda's Pete Hines on Fallout 3Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) has unveiled its release schedule for 2008 – Q1 2009, confirming a slew of launch windows for several highly anticipated games including Resistance 2, LittleBigPlanet and MotorStorm Pacific Rift.
The release list is as follows:

September 16th next big date after the release of MGS4, at least for me. Hopefully the multiplayer of SOCOM will not let us down.
I'm screwed if SOCOM goes up against R2, I have no idea which I would get!!!!!!

Isn't Flower still due this year? What about inFAMOUS. To be honest I'd just be happy SEEING more of inFAMOUS.
Wipeout HD, Elefunk, Pixeljunk Eden, Siren, SOCOM, Littlebigplanet, Buzz! PS3, MotorStorm 2, Resistance 2 and Killzone 2 are all mine this year anyway. Metal Gear Solid 4, Haze and plenty of others too like Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm.

I guess God of War 3 isn't coming out in March 2009 after all and I'm not surprised. Even though GOW3 is listed on Gamestop for March 2009, it's not an Official date. I guess God of War 3 wont be coming out until Summer 2009 or Late 2009.
I think it's a little disappointing how the PS3's 2008 game lineup really diminished. Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 5 (the full game), and Killzone 2 were all listed as 2008 games.... I guess Sony couldn't release everything in one year.
And what the heck happened to games like Afrika, Eight Days, Heavy Rain, and InFamous? There had better be something at E3 regarding those games and 2009 release dates for ALL of those games.
Right now it looks like God of War 3, Final Fantasy XIII, Gran Turismo 5, Wardevil, and Killzone 2 will be the PS3's biggest games for 2009, and it's a good strategy from Sony to release Killzone 2 early in 2009 because they need to keep up the momenteum from the Holiday season.
PS3 game development time is what's hurting the PS3 because Sony needs to get out there System Seller games ASAP. It's about time for those games that were shown at E3 2005 and E3 2006 to be released NOW because I'm sick and tired of hearing no info about games like Afrika, InFamous, and Heavy Rain. If Sony wants to be successful with the PS3, they will need to start cranking out Exclusive games in 2 year cycles like Insomniac with Resistance 2.
But the games that I'm looking forward to on that list is: Killzone 2, Resistance 2, and Motorstorm 2. I don't have a PSP, but if I did, I definanlty would be buying the new Rachet Game. I'm still a little Iffy about LittleBigPlanet, and SOCOM is a Online Game Only with no Single Player, so there's no chance I'm getting it at all.
The only games I'm interested in from that list are Motorstorm Pacific Drift and Resistance 2. But I have learnt my lesson and I'm 100% certain that they won't be released in 2008.
The ps3 has at least two rpg's the last time I checked (more in japan). This list is only 1st and 2nd party titles. I am sure there is going to be at least a handful of 3rd party rpgs out this year. Doesn't valkarye and sonata drop this year? I am personally waiting for steambot and I am curious about the new disgaea. I really would have liked White knight story though.
