if ea brings it out i then i am thinking of not buying it if ea gets it on their hands they are defenetly going to poep some coca cola billdoards or other real products only for the money and then screw something

Even if EA do buy them out I can see it happening within the next 22 days..lol

Cant EA just dissappear under a rock or something.....the gaming world would be better if they just died...well it would for PS3 lol.

I dare you to delay it til MGS 4's release. Prepair to lose a huge percentage in sales.

This basically means nothing , its only logical that they would delay it to get their name in the game. And if this happens , then we could see a buggy game because of the alterations. And if that happens i will not buy the game simply because its going to BE buggy and it will be  handeled by EA so yeah . This is Logical news rather then A big breakthrough

EA dont have a very good rep.. thats true, and Pachter is right - if they can delay the game to setup a bigger launch and essentially more money then they'll do it. However i dont believe they're as sucky as everyone keeps saying... EA do have a lot of quality titles under their belt lets not forget people - including Burnout Paradise and Army of Two, just to mention a couple of newbies.

EA can kiss a.s.s they will ruin GTA, by the way I cancelled by Pre Order of GTA IV in australia and getting it overseas, so up your Government of australia you cant stop us!!!!

This is sick stuff EA is trying to do. And microsoft is doing the exact same thing to yahoo. They give them an offer and a dealine. The point of the deadline is to give them a chance before you forcefully take it over by buying most of their shares.

Soon we wont have a choice to avoid buying EA games, because they will own the market!

Fine... Release it for Microsoft on April 29th,  delay ours for two more months and make it 2% better then the 360 version.   I'm fine with that.  Either way EA you suck ***!  except for rock band but I blame that all on Harmonix not EA.

I'm sorry but  EA ruined Army of Two. They had a great game and bothched the aiming system. God knows what they will do to GTA.

Why not just release it on the 29th and then add the 2% later in a patch?

Ladies and gentleman, our favorite pasttime has turned really ugly.  But you can change it by boycotting EA.  If you don't like it, boycott it.  It used to be the American way.  They will straighten right up.

why is it starting to seem like this is microsoft's game. "they're bound by a contract to release it on time". i guess that if EA does require T2, then Saints Row will become "the GTA killer"

EA doesnt have the only offer on the table to buy T2 there are other companies out there also who wants purchase T2 hopefully sony is one of those companies and bail them out of this crazy EA scheme to make a small buck

I saw the interview on Gametrailers last night, and when I heard Patcher say that there is still a possibility that GTA4 could be delayed because of EA, I almost wanted to scream. I pre-ordered GTA4 last July for god's sake before the game even got delayed and I don't know what I'll do if the game gets delayed again.

Well, EA has the economic incentive to delay GTA4, but that doesn't mean that they will. EA needs to keep it's hands off good game developers and work on it's own game development. EA's got Cavemen or Nederthals developing games now because most of them SUCK. Burnout is the only good EA game franchise to me.

they don't need to sell the company at all, unless its Sony. They could help with money and know how to work with the PS3 and make the next game even better.

If EA acquires it prepare for every billboard to be pimped out with all kinds of real world advertising...heck i bet they sell out and put adverts on the radio stations lol.

I kind of yern for the days when I didn't hate EA with all the fibers in my body.

EA won't care after April 29.  Their dreams of money are slipping away.  They wanted to get in when the didn't have to pay for anythign and want pure profit.  I say Fvck em.  EA can't produce anything more than dog sh!t and they want to try and get something good in their portfolio.
