According to reports from Australian website Gameplayer, Capcom will be releasing its PlayStation 3 port of Lost Planet: Extreme Condition in February 2008.
News comes following a release scheduled distributed by Capcom’s Australian publisher Activision, though an exact date has yet to be revealed. It is unknown if this date covers just Australian territories or offers a more general approach.
The PS3 version of Lost Planet incorporates everything present in the original Xbox 360 version, in addition to several exclusive features, including all-new playable characters (each possessing their own unique abilities) as well as 16 multiplayer maps available from the start.
Stay tuned for more coverage as it breaks.

Lost Planet Extreme Condition Trailer
Aussie Aussie Aussie oi oi oi first post
meh, If this port plays anything like Port Power did, I won't be getting it.
v Thats nice BROTHER! v
^^ lame-o comment brother
Oh great, now it is February, as far as I know it was said to release in January when the announcement was made.
This would be a crappie port from crappie box. So I won’t buy it
psn id: gingo... this port looks crap, the original wasn't great and i dont think capcom have done much to improve it
Come on, guys. At least give it a chance before saying you don't like it. At least the visuals look like they have been improved. I say, send over all of the games we can get.
Meh to each his own, this game was average at best.
Lost Planet...? I finished this game almost a year ago on my PC. What - It takes this long to do a sloppy seconds....I mean sloppy thirds port to PS3? What is this sh i t? is PS3 the hand me down child in the family. I expected a lot better than the scraps.
Yaaaaaaaaaaaaawn..............real news please?
Lost Planet is a gorgeous game, but gameplay is alright. Played it on PC, even on 640x480, looked amazing.
DMC4 will probably be the only game I get Feb 2008, though.
There are plenty of people who didnt play it on PC and wouldnt play it on 36* because it;s on a 36*. This makes it a whole lot easier to experience. My only problem is February?? fof Fuzks sake! Take an extra couple of months to optimize the damn thing!
Lost Planet is aleady going into the discount bin at AU$49.95 (US$35) on the PC platform so they should not try to sell it on PS3 for more than that. My feeling is it should be a $29.95 cheap buy in Feb 2008 otherwise it looks bad that PS3 owners are paying a higher price for an old game everyone else played a year or two before.
Lost planet isn't exactly a fantastic game.It looks nice but the controls are very slow and it can get very annoying coz of it.It's certainly not a game i'd rush out and buy on the ps3.
Wow another crappy port of another average game. Seriously this port wasn't needed for the ps3. Capcom should have put their money to better use.
Cool, this game looks pretty interesting to me.As long as Capcom doesn't screw this to be a pi ss poor port,i'll buy it.
