LittleBigPlanet beta levels to remain in retail release

Posted on October 9th, 2008 at 18:45 EDT

Hip, hip, hooray! All your favorite LittleBigPlanet beta levels will see the light of day!

Excuse the horrid rhyme, but it's the truth. Media Molecule co-founder Alex Evans has just confirmed that "all the LittleBigPlanet user-created levels we've been seeing from the beta are in fact going to be making the transition into the full final game."

This is likely due to the overwhelming response they received on their recent poll. 82% of individuals want to see the beta content remain in the retail release.

Be ready to roam all over LittleBigPlanet when it launches on October 21 and 24 in the U.S. and Europe respectively.

Next: The Last Remnant TGS 08 trailer

The Last Remnant is indeed a 360 timed exclusive, but as it will be coming to PS3 eventually, it's still worthwhile to check out the latest trailer for the game. It's sti...

Brilliant news, for those of us not in the beta who will now be able to enjoy those levels we've been salivating over; and for the creators of those brilliant levels who've invested unholy amounts of time into the game not seeing their efforts go to waste and given the chop after a few weeks.

@3 I tried to search for it, but couldn't find it.  There are a a ton of Indiana Jones based levels :)  They should get together with Lucas to get the rights to make some costumes based on Indiana Jones, Star Wars, and Howard the Duck ;)  JK about Howard the Duck.  I really want to play as an Indiana Jones sackboy.  If anyone wants to check out my levels, Look for "Volcano!", "Tumbleweed Terror", or just search my username which is "bracomadar".

noooooo!!! No I don't want to play 10000000 million beta levels, when there could be better levels made in the retail game.
I know that there will be new levels made, but those beta levels will be haunting there forever : |

some of the beta levels are not very good but there are some really good ones too. I have only had the Beta for two days and so far I am amazed with what you can do. The possibilities are endless pretty much. I am still on the tutorials and checking out how to build stuff... It's fantastic...
