Even with the announcement of a downsized E3 this year many gamers are preparing themselves for news and footage even bigger than last year.

And rightly so, especially now that Killzone for PS3 has been confirmed to be at E3 this year and in full force. Many gaming sites, including PSU, have been invited to a two and a half hour Killzone Pre-E3 event sent out by Sony.

The invites were sent out via mail in a black envelope with a Killzone and PlayStation logo on the letter. The enclose letter stated the event is scheduled for Tuesday July 10th and will run from 9:30AM through 12:00PM. The event is scheduled to run concurrently with Microsoft's planned E3 press conference, which is unlikely to be a mere coincidence. So if you’re a gamer get your refresh button ready, find you gaming channel, and sit back and relax as some hotly anticipated Killzone info should finally be released.
