Jobe reconfirms PlayStation Store overhaul for April

Dylan Jobe loves community interaction. The amount of work he does is awe-inspiring. Not only does he write novel-sized PlayStation.Blog posts, but he then reads every single comment and answers all that deem a response.

Every now and again, some big information can slip into a little response. To the 150th comment, Jobe responded, "I know! April is crazy right? New store, new games…"

This only further verifies an overhaul of the current PlayStation Store in April. With a rumored date of April 15, the new PS Store is said to take inspiration from the SingStar-themed SingStore.

With two mere weeks standing between today and the rumored PS Store update, we're extremely excited to see how the situation pans out. We'll keep you updated.

    What about ps3 home last time i heard on the net it was going to be released in april i wanna make more gaming buddies. Plus i wanted to make a clan room for my vegas team. but the main question is what about home i heard no news expect for the beta update but i want in as well.

    hope the us store and euro store are tied together as far as dlc goes. psn needs more simultaneous content

    How about a universal store for the western world?  So that we wouldn't have to use atleast to two PSN accounts!!!

    Or could we atleast choose our own personal colors or theme for the store??? Make it customisable, in appearance anyways.

    A PS Store overhaul should be relatively simple to do. Moving things around and all isn't that hard. Hopefully it works out.

    I knew there'd be an update but April 15th is pure speculation.  Middle of the month is quite a common date.
