GoW Collection to include God of War III demo

Fans of the God of War series have an even better reason to pick up the upcoming God of War Collection – you’ll get a voucher for the E3 GoW III demo. This is the same demo that was playable at this year’s E3, and you will be able to play it when you purchase Collection.

As you may recall, GoW Collection is a Blu-ray copy of the remastered versions of hit PlayStation 2 games God of War and God of War II. Both games will be in high-def, running at 60 frames per second, and it will feature Trophy support. The game will be available sometime in November.

We won’t be surprised if many people buy this game just for the God of War III demo, but the Blu-ray version of the first two games sounds incredible.

According to the PlayStation Blog, we should see a video of gameplay for GoW Collection soon.

    Haven't played the first two so this is a definte for me...the demo is just gravy.

    @1, Sure, but think how many people might buy this disc just to get the demo if that's the only way to play it.

    Common sense to include it on the disc, really.

    If they'd included Chains of Olympus, that would have made this collection something truly special.

    OMG!!! I will be finding a way to get this. Hope to God that I get a job before this game comes out cause I want the God of War 3 demo so I can show it off to all my consoless friends. :)

    Actually first 2 GOW games did have a demo, as well as Chains of Olympus.

    I can't wait to play the demo again!, it's a really really good demo.

    This is a definite 1st day buy for me, and not just because of the demo, but its GOW 1, & 2, HD and trophy support, can't ask for more!.

    I doubt Ready at Dawn would port over a PSP to a bluray disc. Still its 2 awesome games for $40 with God of War 3 demo included! I just placed my order on Amazon for $36.99 with free shipping.

    Cant wait for this. Never played the second GOW so want to beat that before GOW3. DAMN THERES ALOT OF GOOD GAMES COMING OUT. ITS A PROUD TIME TO BE A PS3 OWNER.

    I would just like to play the first 2 for now but am really busy catching up with so many other games. Man, don't know what to do. Demo seems like a plus but not a reason to purchase the combo.

    I beat the first game and my friend already lent me the second game but I may just hold off on playing it so I can get the trophies and the demo.
