The creative minds behind hit titles Patapon and Echochrome have confirmed that they have signed to appear at the forthcoming Develop conference in July.

Junichi Yoshizama of Sony Worldwide Studios Japan will front a discussion on the PlayStation Portable rhythm title Patapon, accompanied by Pyramid Director, Atsushi Li.

Furthermore, the Brighton conference will also play host to a session on PlayStation Network/PSP title, Echochrome, headed by Jun Fujiki and Sony of Japan’s Tetsuya Suzuki.

Andy Lane, Managing Director of Tandem Events, commented: "We are privileged to welcome Ii-san, Yoshizawa-san, Fujiki-san and Suzuki-san to the Develop Conference and are thrilled that we can offer our delegates the opportunity to be inspired by what can only be described as some of the most creative video games designers on the planet.”

I'm surprised I liked Patapon after the LocoRoco fiasco.  I simply cannot play a game with such an up-beat soundtrack.  It infuriates me.
