Koei today announced plans to release an extension of the popular Disgaea series, Afternoon of Darkness for Sony’s PlayStation Portable this December.
Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness signals the return of series favourite Price Laharl and his entourage, as they fight for control of the Netherworld. Developer Nippon Ichi has confirmed that the PSP instalment will feature an exclusive multiplayer option, allowing players to duke it out together and exchange various items.
Also included in the game is an all-new storyline featuring the character of Etna, allowing gamers to unlock a special ending upon its completion. Furthermore, multiplayer options allow for various customisations, such as rules, field conditions and other related properties.

Yeah something is not right here.....but they did say "an extension" to the game(?)...but where does Koei fit in? (... 0.o wtf?) Guess we have to stay tuned as the post says... :-S
Yeah that is interesting because I just picked up this game today.
I just saw like two whole new shipments in different stores yesterday so they must have been talking about the UK. As for the "extension" maybe they're refering to the brand New Etna Storylinethey added for the PSP version.
Yes, its already out in the Unites States. Came out Oct. 30th. It is the first Disgaea with a few extra characters, multiplayer, and the Etna Storyline. Its awesome ^^
