THQ has announced that it will be releasing a playable demo of Conan for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next week.
Xbox 360 owners will be able to download the title from October 8, with PlayStation 3 users gaining access to the demo via the PlayStation Store three days later on October 11.
Full details on the exact content of the demo have yet to be revealed.
Conan is an eponymous action adventure title based around the legendary warrior of the same name. Gamers take on the role of the infamous Conan the Barbarian as he ventures into numerous locations battling hordes of enemies in an effort overthrow a nefarious power, which threatens to consume the entire world.
Players will be able to utilize a variety of weapons and equipment to fend off enemies, including axes, swords, clubs and various magical properties as you rack up kills with devastating combos.
Conan is currently available in European territories and is due out in North America from October 23.

Can't wait for this Demo. I was thinking of picking up this game, but playing the demo will be the deciding factor for me.
Actually, i think it's based on the book so no Schwarzenegger i don't think. It would've been cool though in my opinion, some classic governator dialogue would've been awesome
um...y'all know it's not arnie thats in the game right? it's nothing to do with the conan film...I borrowed the 360 version of this game from a mate today and had a wee bash at it and i gotta say, if you like hack and slash (which i do) it's damn fine...much fun to be had splitting people in half or ripping their guts out...

Yeah, came out in the UK last week...it's pretty cool if you like hack and slash games...good fun and quite well made. Nto perfect in any sense but well worth splashing out on.
I like how the PSN demos are on time with the live demos now. We used to get demos way after 360 now we get them same time, once in a while like simpsons we get the demo before 360. This makes me HAppy.

Conan should be a good game but to me it sorta resembles a lot ot GOW.
