Resident Evil 5 stars veteran zombie-slayer Chris Redfield and newcomer Sheva Alomar, as the pair embarks on an investigation into the latest bioterrorism threat in a remote African settlement known as Kijuju. This latest entry in the long running franchise throws in co-op gameplay, new weapons, enemies and a storyline that looks set to settle Redfield’s long running feud with Mr. Perpetual Sunglasses himself, Albert Wesker.

The game hits stores on March 13, 2009.

I like the US one better. It shows the characters holding guns and that just sucks me into it.

The US one is my favorite because it actually has someone on the cover. To be honest I'd be happy with both of them. I think Wesker should be on it too. Wesker is one of the best villians ever.

Our american box art only differs in that we need to see the characters on the cover to realize what it is. We're stupid that way. Half the country would probably see the shape of africa and be scared away if they even recognize it to begin with.

I've always liked the Euro box arts because they are simple and to the point ( The Final Fantasy series is a good example of that ). If people in the states still don't know what Resident Evil is, than they are unlikely to pick this up. These people fall into a very very small catagory.

psn id: gingo... the european boxarts are on the whole much better just because they try too hard to suit the american audience with the US ones without keeping it simple and sweet

Gingo, you always think the UK style is better, just because your in the UK. Sorry, I think your wrong. The US has plenty of tast, when it come's to box art, stop being SINGLE MINDED! I do like the EU better, even thou I am in the US. PSN ID- Demented007

What is it with American boxart and having the characters on it? I think one of the few good things about living in a Euro region country is the better boxart. Less is more.

I have no idea why we always have the characters on our boxart, I guess I don't care either way, but EU is a little more tasteful
