With the PlayStation 3 already seeing a strong lineup of great blockbuster Blu-ray titles, people shouldn't forget the PlayStation Network and the plethora of unique titles Sony and their partners have cooked up for it. For a small price, gamers can garner as much entertainment out of one of these excellent titles as they might find in full-blown retail game. So, without further hesitation, here are the nominees for Best PlayStation Network Game of E3 2008.

Stylish visuals, unique gameplay, amazing music, three player co-op, trophy support, youtube uploading, and remote play -- it's utterly astounding how many difference selling points this game has. We mustn't forget that, amidst all the features, it's great fun too. The best part? It came out today, so you're finally able to get your hands on one of the best PSN games at E3 2008.

Already nominated for Most Innovative Game of E3 2008 and Best Graphics of E3 2008, the beautiful Flower scores a hat-trick with this nomination. Flower can't be sufficiently described with words, only as an experience unlike any before it. Utilizing primarily Sixaxis motion control, Flower visualizes the dreams of flowers amidst lush, verdant environments.

Picking up where Tools of Destruction left off, Quest for Booty features the same astounding graphics and audio the original AAA title included. This time around players will have access to a new wretch that allows them to push, pull, and manipulate objects to solve puzzles. The game should last you around three to four hours, but for the relatively low asking price, we feel it's well worth it to continue Ratchet and Clank's epic adventure.

Princesses are spoiled. They get everything they want, including food. And, when they are captured by an opposing empire, it's rather hard to carry them back. Frantic and fun, Fat Princess pits two hordes of players against each other in comic medieval battle royale. Your goal is to rescue your beloved princess from the enemy dungeon. With lovable (but bloody) graphics and impressive 32-player online matches, it seems that Fat Princess will be angering feminists and entertaining us for a long time to come.
And 'Best PSN Game of E3 2008' goes to...

After two swings and two misses at previous awards, Flower finally hits one out of the park as our Best PlayStation Network Game of E3 2008. Flower is such a pure, tranquil experience so rarely seen within videogames that it deserves every bit of praise it receives. In a student overcomes master type of way, Flower has surpassed thatgamecompany's previous title, flOw, in nearly all regards - graphics, control, gameplay and the like. You've never experienced nature like this.

Um...it's right there dude...
fat princess ftw :(!!!!
i think it should have gone 2 ratchet clank future
most of these games look and sound like a disapointment just like the ps3's reliability

Fat Princess is innovative in its own right. It was a really tough choice between the last three actually, but we just had to hand it to Flower.
